Her story

Who Thandie is

Thandie Sterling calls herself a multi-faceted creative. Her work is storytelling, and what she wants it to bring is transformation, healing and growth.

She has Zimbabwean roots and is based in London. She is open to opportunities in the UK and internationally.

Her YouTube channel is, in her words, “a home for unboxed storytelling, where conversation, film and poetry move as one.” Tea Time With Thandie is the opening chapter.

How Tea Time started

The first Tea Time With Thandie video went up on YouTube in February 2023. A get-to-know-me Q&A followed, then answers to dilemmas sent in by followers, a two-part talk about life, God, relationships and dating, and The Importance of Emotional Healing, a four-part series of conversations with guests.

In June 2026 she brought Tea Time back as a podcast on Spotify: a trailer, then eight weekly episodes on knowing God, trust, purpose and identity.

Spoken word and film

In September 2025 she performed a poem a day for 30 days on TikTok. In February 2026 she released That I May Know You, a spoken word film with “As the Deer” sung by Lavern Chirima.

Stage and screen

She speaks and hosts at events. Her early media work, on conversations about men’s mental health, took her onto ZBC, ZiFM Stereo, The Daily Dose and The Sister Show on 3Ktv, and Cite Youth Network, and into the Daily News. See Press & Media.
